DAVID MENDEZ.    David has over 8 years experience as a venture capitalist, and prior to his VC work was a successful serial entrepreneur experiencing several exits, and advising multiple startups in the USA and Europe in business development, finance and operations.  He was founder of a NEA-backed B2B supply chain technology company, Supplybase.inc, which sold to i2 Technologies in 2000. Prior to being an entrepreneur, David worked as an engineer and business manager at DuPont, Conoco and General Electric. David has an engineering degree from Clemson University and an MBA from The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. 

TANYA MARVIN-HOROWITZ.    Tanya has resided in Stockholm, Sweden since 2014, as Co-founder and Managing Partner of Capital A Partners.  Prior to starting CAP A, Tanya spent 10+ years in NYC as a FINRA registered M&A Banker and Asset Manager. Tanya has served on the Board for ACG NY and also started ACG NY’s International Committee & a member of the Women of Leadership Committee. Her substantial rolodex consists of global corporations, PE & VC Funds. Prior to being a financial services executive, she also worked as a business manger for professional athletes and entertainers. Tanya was a collegiate tennis athlete and has a BBA from GA State University with a minor in Mathematics. 

Inbar Haham  

Partner  -  New York City

INBAR HAHAM.   Inbar has over 15 years of technology and finance experience. As a venture capitalist, she led business development for 5 years in the USA for Magma VC, one of Israel’s most established VCs. Inbar has an extensive network in the USA and Israel and a strong deal-flow pipeline. She stays involved in advising early stage startups on fund raising and growth strategies. Inbar was one of the first team members at Wix (WIX NASDAQ), one of Israel’s most successful technology startup. Inbar is featured as one of 10 Israelis making a mark on New York’s the scene. Inbar holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the City University of New York, Zicklin School of Business, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Andreas Calabrese

Operating Partner - Stockholm / USA

ANDREAS CALABRESE.   Andreas is a graduate in International Business and Finance from Mälardalens University.   He was born and raised in Colorado and attended Quest University in Canada on a soccer scholarship, and relocated to Sweden to attend Mälardalens.   He is founding member and director of finance for the student travel organization MEC.  Andreas speaks Swedish, English and Spanish fluently.  Andreas works on strategic research projects out of CAP A’s offices in Stockholm.  He recently facilitated CAP A's portfolio company TVM (via Butterfly Ventures) in their establishment of U.S. operations, and serves on the U.S.-based management team based between Denver and Tampa.

Anette Nordvall

ANETTE NORDVALL.   Anette is currently a partner at Stockholms Affärsänglar, a partnership and syndication of Business Angels.  Having worked globally in the USA and Scandinavia, Anette brings to CAP A a plethora of entrepreneurial skills and leadership.  Anette is currently stationed in Silicon Valley under a Vinnova fellowship.

Michael Jeon

MICHAEL JEON.   Michael was recently VP of Operations at MindMeld, an advanced machine learning and AI platform company, which was acquired by CISCO in May 2017. Prior to MindMeld, Michael held investment roles at Samsung Ventures America and as the founding Head of Samsung Ventures Europe. Michael’s prior experience includes both large multinational corporations and fast growing startups. Michael holds a BS in EECS from UC Berkeley, MS in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon, and an MBA from the Sloan School at MIT.

Nathalie Nebelius

Per Grunewald

PER GRUNEWALD

Per has more than 20 years of experience from global manufacturing industries, with positions as Senior VP at Electrolux and as CEO of E2Home (JV Ericsson/Electrolux). He is the co- founder of several start-ups that today are publicly listed, including Pegroco Invest, an investment company focusing on expansion stage companies originated in the Nordics. Per is an elected member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and holds several board positions in growth companies in a variety of industries. Per holds a MSc in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
